FREE YOUR BODY, FREE YOUR MIND.

K. Krishna Menon, Academy, Borivali (W) with the group Yoga Hut. Around 100 Yoga enthusiastic participants attended this event. The chief dignitaries who graced the occasion were Mr. Gopal Shetty, Member of the Parliament and Mr. Shivanand Shetty, Elected Coporator for R-Central Ward. OPEN SCHOOLING AT BOSCO BOYS HOME

On the 13 th of June, 2019 the management and staff of Bosco Boys Home had organised a Parents meeting. The main objective of the meeting was to announce and explain to the parents about the concept of Home schooling and NIOS. Also to inform them about the progress of their child and new projects been prepared for the betterment of the children. Fr. Corlis Gonsalves, the Director of the Institute, welcomed the parents and briefed them about the Open schooling programme and been started in BBH from the month of June. The parents were also informed about the various Child Welfare Committee (CWC) rules like opening of bank accounts, limited period of home holidays, etc. Ms. Caroline D’Souza, who has worked for 27 years in the NIOS sphere in collaboration with Don Bosco Borivali and Wadala for NIOS and Home schooling project introduced the parents to the concept of National Institue of Open Schooling (NIOS). MAKING YOUTH: SKILLED, EMPLOYABLE AND INDEPENDENT

On 12 th of June, 2019 the WACKER CHEMI INDIA and ASTARC Group collaborated with BOSCO BOYS HOME, (BBH) Borivali to train the students and the masons of Palghar district. The session comprised of giving some practical fieldwork experience in the sector of thin bed tiles application keeping in mind the upgraded quality of real estate projects and continual growing need for skilled and quality labour. In all there were 25 participants for the training programme comprising of students, masons and contractors. The main objective of this programme was to introducing semi-skilled masons to better skilled methods of laying tiles using Polymer-modified thin bed tile adhesive. It is one of the many C.S.R activities carried by WACKER CHEMI INDIA and ASTARC Group to increase market awareness by collecting market data so as to come up with advanced tiling technique. BOSCO FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2019: A MOMENT OF JOY AND TOGETHERNESS

MUMBAI, JUNE 10, 2019: Bosco Boys Home, Borivali (BBH) in collaboration with the youth of Don Bosco Parish, Borivali organised a 2-day football tournament for the children and youth of the neighbourhood on the 8 th and 9 th of June, 2019. The event was from dawn to dusk (9am to 6pm) divided into two categories namely: Under 16 and Open category at Don Bosco Parish and School ground.           Teams from all over Borivali, Gorai, Malad and Kandivali joined for this fun filled extravaganza. In all 16 teams participated in each of the two categories. Bosco Boys put up two teams in the under 16 category and one team for the open category.           The tournament was inaugurated and blessed by Fr. Corlis Gonsalves sdb, the Rector of BBH. Fr.
