WELCOME TO DN. XAVIER BANDYA SDB


MUMBAI, JUlY 11, 2019: 

Bosco Boys Home, (BBH) Borivali welcomed Dn. Xavier Bandya sdb to their community. He is appointed as the Perfect of Studies and the Catechist of the boys at the Shelter home (YAR cordinator) as well as the Vice Principal of the Technical Institute. Dn. Xavier arrived at BBH, after having completed the course of Bachelor Degree of Theology at Jnana DeepaVidyapeeth (JDV), Pune.
Fr. Corlis Gonsalves sdb, the Director of BBH welcomed Dn. Xavier introduced him to the boys. The boys welcomed him with a melodious “Swagatham Dear Father” song and a beautiful free style dance on the song “Baki sab First Class hai”. As a welcoming gesture the boys presented Dn. Xavier with a beautiful welcome card.
While thanking the boys for their kindness shown to him, he insisted the boys to apply themselves in studies and make it their immediate priority. He told the boys to always follow the values of honesty and hardwork to be happy in life.
Dn. Xavier along with his Theological studies also have done an ITI study in the field of Motor Mechanic from the reputed “Joseph Cardijn Technical School, Dadar”.   
With prayerful blessings we wish Dn. Xavier all the best for his immediate ministry with the little angels of BBH.

CARING AND SHARING WITH LOVE

          The students from Mary Immaculate, Borivali came to Bosco Boys’ Home (BBH) respectively on the 19 th and 20 th of December with celebrate and spread the spirit of Christmas to the boys of the orphanage. The trip was organised by the Management and staff of Mary Immaculate Primary and High School section. It was divided into two batches on the 19 th the Primary section and on the next day the Secondary section. The students were accompanied by Sr. Payal, MSA and the other staffs from the school. The students started with an introduction by playing an icebreaker game wherein they got to know the names of the boys. Then the programme started with the pictorial description, carol singing and a skit beautifully enacting the Nativity of the Lord explaining to the boys about the real meaning of Christmas. AD MAJOREM DEI GLORIAM

“Praise the Lord for all His wonders to me!” captures Fr. Aloysius inner sentiments as he celebrated his 60th year of the First Religious Profession on the 24th of May, 2020. He renewed his religious vows to live the Evangelical Counsels and to labor for the salvation of souls as he follows the footsteps of Jesus, our Good Shepherd, and in the spirit of our father and founder St John Bosco. PARENTS MEETING

On the 5 th of November, 2018 the management and staff of Bosco Boys Home had organised a Parents meeting.   As the Diwali holiday came near the children of Bosco Boys Home were in happier mood as they were informed that they would be allowed to go home for few days for the Diwali celebration. Taking his opportunity, the staff decided to have a brief meeting of the children along with their parents informing them about the progress of their child and new projects been prepared for the betterment of the children. Fr. Corlis Gonsalves, the Director of the Institute, welcomed the parents and briefed them about the upcoming programmes been planned for the children and the new rules applied by the Child Welfare Committee for the children regarding the holidays.
