Batch number 34 of the Hotel Management
department of the Bosco Boys Home and Technical Institute, Borivli, had their
field trip cum educational visit to Hotel HYATT REGENCY, Mumbai.
Hyatt was founded by
Jay Pritzker in 1957 and is among the leading International Hotels in the
world. In all 15 students participated in this exposure, which was
co-ordinated by William Sequeira, instructor of the Facility Management
department of Bosco Boys Home and Technical Institute and Mrs. Alisha Pinto the
Training Manager of the Hyatt Regency. During the exposure, the students were
guided through the various departments of the hotel like the food production,
sewage plant water and more.
The students were thrilled to see the
splendour and grandeur of the hotel. One of the students, Parameshwar Rathod
shared, “We toured the banquet halls, the suits and the rooms and were amazed
by the sheer beauty of it. It was an awesome experience to be part of this
educational visit.”
“It is a good practise for the students
to visit such hotels as part of their curriculum. It will be a great help and
an asset to them in the future. I appreciate Bosco Boys Home and Technical
Institute for providing their students with such educative and precious
experience.” Mrs. Pinto, said.
